Not a tournament, but another event that will be starting up soon is a Mighty Empires WHFB campaign. It will be run out of the Gaming Pit starting Feb 4th.

The Exterminatus is back! This year, it will be March 14th-15th. It's also moved slightly, it is going to be in Cleveland, TN.

The Gaming Pit will be hosting the opening round of the 40k 'Ard Boyz Tournament! It will be held on September 13th, with 2,500 point armies causing much mayhem trying to prove who is the best general around.

We just wanted to take a moment and congratulate one of the other gaming clubs local to the Atlanta area: NATO. They won Best Tacticians (most battle points) in this year's Adepticon National Team Tournament! They were so so close to winning overall, just one point shy. A great accomplishment none the less.
Great job again, guys! We were rooting for you - after we bombed in the third round, anyway.... :p

The Gaming Pit and GW MOG is sponsoring a regional, 2 man team Apocalypse league for the Lucky 13s Year Long Campaign. This league is open to all players, clubs & stores in the metro area. See the events page for details.

The next full-blown league we will be running will be running is going to be for Warhammer Fantasy (starting in March!). In order to get everyone ready, we'll be having a quick Warbands Campaign in February.

It's that time of year again! Time for everyone to get together for some food, gaming, and potential drunkeness. It will again be held at my house (Brian W), and this time no grape soda allowed!! :p

The Warfan Toys for Tots tournament is over! It took a lot of work, but was well worth it. We had 42 players between the different gaming systems and raised over $1,200 and 50 toys for the Marines Toys for Tots Campaign!

We've got some pictures of the Apocalypse Megabattle that the store held last week. It was a massive field of battle with 9 tables being utilized and over 25,000 points per side! It was a great time with Disorder squeeking out the win in the end by taking out the primary objective. Better luck next time, Imperials!

We had a great turn out yesterday (May 19th) for the 40k RTT with 16 players taking part! Thanks, everyone, for playing and I hope you enjoyed yourselves! The final results were as follows:
- Best Overall: Paul Murphy's Blood Angels
- Best General: James Kennamer's Black Legion
- Best Painted: Frank Wilkerson's 13th Company
- Best Sportsman: Merlin Chong & his Thousand Sons
- Tau Martial Artist: Mark Pass' Emperor's Children - He had amazing luck at rolling 1-5's with his rending daemonettes!
- Orky Sharpshooter: Clay Knuckles' Space Marines - for routinely bad shooting throughout the entire tournament, such as killing more of his own models with plasma guns than enemies!
Some upcoming 40k RTT's include one being hosted by our neighbor, NATO, on June 16th as well as the Exterminatus in early August (see below).

Warfan's "Kick Da Squig" won the Best Club Table at this year's Atlanta Games Day event! Great job guys, and a big thanks to everyone who worked on the table and volunteered to run it at Games Day. Most especially to Jesse and Nayef for all the hard work and dedication they put into it to make sure it got done and done well.
Here's to a repeat next year!

Starting on May 9th and running for 7 weeks will be a Fantasy Escalation League. The points will start out at 1,000 and reach 2,150 in 7 weeks of gaming fun! Also included will be a painting competition for individual units and also best painted overall.
Prizes will include blisters and regiment boxes for painting and best records.

Toys for Tots 2006 is over, and boy was it a fun event! We had 30 people show up for 40k and 18 to Fantasy! The results have been posted on the the TFT Page.
Big thanks to everyone who showed up and played for a great cause. Two full boxes of toys and $500 dollars were donated to the Toys for Tots charity!

I just want to Thank all of you that
came to the event for making it a Very Successful Gaming and
Charity event. We gave the Marines over 40 toys and $450.00 in
cash. The hotel was very cooperative and We Owe GW and Big
thank you for their help. Joe Johnson won best over all, Nayef
Smith won Sportmanship, Frank Wilkerson won best painted, and
Jesse Farmer won best General.
